OEM tampered error

Hi,

I am getting an unusual error on my vivo V9 since past couple of days, "Detected customized type exception on the phone. The relevant communication feature will be disabled.(OEM tampered)". The error shows up under notifications tab from the start and cannot be removed. The app under which the error shows up is vivoservice, however I can't find any such app on the phone.

Can someone please help in making some sense out of this error?

Hello there!
Not exactly sure what that means, even Googling it really didn't yield any results for me.

Did you happen to root the device at all?

Hi, I don't know where this came from. I too couldn't find anything on google. And no, I haven't rooted the device. Also I cannot remember any specific app that I might have installed after which this error came up.

It too have the same problem I tried everything to like trying to open oem unlock and everything ..but I guess it only be fixed by any update from vivo for this kind of bug occurred..!

For temporary use you can snooze the error so it will show Everytime after 2hrs only..!

I have the solution here

Please go to settings ---> more settings ---> applications ---> All ---> Vivo service ---> storage ---> Clear data.

All the best.
