Notification bar question

Anyone know what this little small circle is on the left hand coner? It disappeared after a few seconds.

It means you have a low priority notification, such as a wifi alert or a google maps traffic alert. At least on Samsung devices that's what it means.

Squint @dontpanicbobby it's in the top left.

I do get this on my S8+ but normally when I have a lot of other notifications present. Next time I see it I'll pay more attention.
