Help S5 gets very warm but no apps "recent"

Recently my S5 battery discharge has been faster and the phone is very warm, even when the screen is not lit. Have adjusted settings according to a few websites, but no cure.

Is there a thread here on how to optimize the S5, make the battery charge last longer, and stop the heat.

Have done most of these.. a few look scary: https://www.technobezz.com/fix-overheating-problem-samsung-galaxy-s5/

Thank you.

I am electronics repairs specialist and I can hardly understand your English.

Lets start over then, with proper English technical terms.

I have a battery purchased at that date .... now it is xxx years old.
My phone gets warm at xxx degree Celsius ...
My S5 running Samsung stock rom ..... or a rom putted together by some kid whom runs experiments and my root it is now broken.

Every battery in the age of 3 years old must be replaced and the lucky S5 owner will pay 20$ or Euro.
There is no other cheap tricks.

Thank you, Xavier. It turned out that somehow LOCATION SERVICES was turned on for five apps!! Geeeeeeez. All four of the batteries passed the spin test (thank you IronAss for posting that great video) and now each battery lasts over a day and the phone no longer gets warm to hot.

Reminds me of the slogan: "Don't go looking for zebras when there are horses".

In the invite your cellphone began to heat towards a noticeable warmer temperature increase and its default apps is not the known culprit. You may want to check the data signal connection strength level in your location. If you're not in a 3G or 4G LTE coverage area, your device may tend to get warmer due to it's signal searcher that will make the device CPU work harder and get hotter. Also it's a good idea to restrict background data from apps not in use. This simple little modification will have a significant effect on the cooling and heating processes of your device.

Excellent points. The 4G is often E. How to restrict background data not in use?

Go to> Settings> Data usage> long press the apps you want to disable background data in that location. Note: Some maybe grayed out and not accessible for users to disable mainly because they are system apps developer has designed to continue to run in the background.

Google Contents:

  1. Go to Settings → Data Usage → Tap on Menu Button → Check Restrict Background data option , Uncheck Auto-sync Data.
  2. Unlock Developer Options → Go to Settings → Developer Options → Tap on Background Process Limit → Choose No background Processing.
