pictures sent without me

Twice a picture has posted on a text message that I didn't send. Someone in the group sends a text. I view it but don't respond. Others respond. Then I get a notification that someone else responded and I go to check and its a picture of mine. Is it the phone or my message app? Thanks

Is it a messenger app that you downloaded or is it a messager app that came with the phone?
