Conversations

I just updated to Oreo 8.0. I don't know if it's because of that update or what but I now get conversations which can be kind of cool. Except I don't know how to reply to them and if I click out of them I don't know where to go get them to be able to reply where are conversations stored

What app are you talking about? I have to ask because message threads in SMS apps are normally referred to as "conversations", but presumably this isn't what you mean because that's been like that for a decade now. Do you mean the "chat" feature of Google Messages (or maybe some other manufacturer's message app, since we also don't know what phone you are using), or something completely different?

I am using an LG v20. That is one of the problems I don't know which app it is coming from because the message doesn't show up in any of my texting apps nor does it show up in my emails. It is from Outlook mobile and it doesn't show up anywhere in that app either

Where exactly does this "coversation" or "message" appear? Is it some sort of notification that you see when you pull down the notification shade?
Is it a pop-up message that comes up at random?

Yes. Pulls down from shade. It is from me outlook support. I am having problems with exchange account. They have sent me some things to try. But after reading them. I can't find them to double check instructions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I perceive your issue:
You are chatting with Outlook Support, and when they reply to you, it notifies you and you can see their reply when you pull down the notification shade.
You are now unclear as to where that notification is coming from in order to review their reply, correct?

If so, where did you begin the support session with Outlook? Via your device in an app, or on your device in a browser window?

If I'm mistaken about how I'm understanding this let me know ;)

You have correctly surmised the problem. I instituted the help from my pc.
So you initiated the chat session via the PC.
You get a notification on your device when Outlook replies to your chat.

Unclear as to why you cannot see the replies on the PC as well to double check their instructions.

However, when the notification comes on your device, you pull the shade down, what happens when you click on the notification itself?

sorry, yes, its all good sorta. I have to go to settings in the outlook app, and go to help, then the convos are there. Outlook only has support of this type, so I could not speak with a person, which would have only taken a few minutes to figure it out. So this is a Big BOOOO. to outlook as an app.
