GS4 Still a Beast

So, I've been away from my phone for about a year. I just got it turned back on about 3 weeks ago.

I always liked my S4. I never had the thought of upgrading. So, just now I decided to look at some other Samsung phones on the market currently. Only the S9 to me is worthy of an upgrade. The specs of the S4 are so similar to other Samsung phones especially on Metro's website.

The S4 still runs butter smooth, it does everything I need it to. Sure, some apps aren't compatible with it but those are far between.

I'll probably wait for the S10 and even still don't even know if I'll upgrade. I still very much enjoy my S4.

Is there anyone still using their S4? And feels the same way?

True but os is much different then hardware, though apps can run via os rendering most apps now adays doesnt run via os 70% of the time it uses hardware to run them, yes the os runs smoothly but app tend to slow it down and kill the battery much faster due to the horsepowers apps requires these days just my opinion

I have used S4 for at least 3 years in a row and it had never let me down. I had to say farewell to it only because i dropped it in water accidentally and its board got fried. Now i am using Samsung Note 8 :)

I have no battery problems and I only installed Pico Gapps to the rooted phones so there is no horrendous demand on them.
Just making mention as I agree Thread Starters comments. S4 model still takes a power of beating. ;)

I'm running my S4 yet and have no plans to change for now. Removable battery and memory card, what's not to like? My bro still had his until it flew off the roof of his car onto the highway recently, so he just got a S6 or 7 maybe.

I've dropped this sucker I can't say how many times and it has yet to show any damage.

This phone continues to perform for my light duty needs, it's great, and I won't stop using it unless it becomes unusable for whatever reason.
