Oooooh see a screenshot is worth a thousand words!!!
That’s the nature of things these days. Its not just Samsung. At least samsung is showing you what they want to do and how they chose to use the data. I just opted into everything because none of my data is secure and I’ve nothing to hide, but thats me.
Seems, in samsungs eyes, In order to get the full experience of the device, you need to agree, otherwise you will be nagged and you may even experience limitations in certain functionality.
Maybe the note 8 is just not for you of you wont agree to those terms. I agre with you that they are tricky. But anything online “in the cloud” is not safe from anything.
Just look at your car insurance or home owners insurance. Look at what you agree to give up whilst using gmail or on ebay, or on any website.
Not trying to turn this discussion into a cyber security discussion, but other than agreeing to those terms, its going to continue.
Perhaps why you see it is when you , or the device, wants to access some data that has rot be agreed to by you in order for that “function” to work properly.
I mean you can reach out to samsung and ask them directly how you can suppress this nag screen , but perhaps you may not have any other recourse.. maybe rooting and/or disabling Knox, but im not sure if even that would prevent it.
