Hi i am Verdine and I got this phone by my father its a HTC Pl80100 LTE. The problem is the start button is in so the phone stays on on mode. That means the screen gets stuck on load mode the HTC logo

It's the One S, right.

I have the One SV with the same problem, the solution is to remove that stuck button. You will be able to use the phone without the power button.

To remove the power button you can disassembly the phone to remove and replace it. I replace the button but it also fails after a couple of weeks. So I don't recommend this method because the design is flawed.

Use a small screwdriver with very fine blade to pry the button out. The on off switch is under the button, you can feel it move when you press it with the tip of your finger. If your fingers are as big as Gorilla fingers, use something soft to press.

So you can now start the phone, but the button is hard to access, to turn the screen on your will need to install an app called Gravity Screen On Off from the Store. Every time you cover the phone's top with your hand, the proximity sensor will kick in and turn the screen on.

To turn the screen off we will use another app called Screen Off and Lock, also available from the Playstore. It will place a button on the home screen allowing you to turn the screen off.

So in case you decide to remove the plastic button, remember not to touch the power switch with something made from metal. Use your finger nail or cotton bud to press. This switch is very fragile and it's soldered to the motherboard, better not to damage it.

I haven't opened any of my Android devices.
It requires skills

No need to open the phone to remove the power button. In fact it's just the button cover that you will pull out, the button itself is underneath.

The piece that is stuck looks like this

With steady hands and a small screwdriver you could slowly pull it out. It's plastic and rubber, just be careful to not scratch the phone.
