Phone not installing apk files

Ok so I know that a lot of peoples phones wont,let them even click on install on apk files but that's not my issue my problem is that I can download apk files and then it will let me click on install and then says installing files but after a few seconds says files not installed what can I do to fix this all help much appreciated thanks

Well "App not installed", I think can mean either the APK is corrupted or truncated, or it's incompatible with your phone. To fix, check the APK integrity is OK, and if necessary re-download it, or ensure that the version is compatible with your LG K8 LTE.

It says it is compatible but still won install I even tried deleting and redownloading and even downloading from another source still won't work
 
Some devices require you to use the built-in file or download manager to successfully install apps
 
That had happened to me before..I suggest first look for the same app but an older version that is already installed on your phone..look through your list of apps..it might be one between of the freezed ones..
