S7 edge overheating

S7 edge over heating non stop, also could someone track down the exact firmware for my phone having no success

Are you sure it's a firmware issue? It could simply be a battery on the way out or a rogue app that's the cause of the overheating. My wife has the S7 Edge and it's battery failed rather dramatically. Overheating and then swelled so much it popped the back off of it.

Xeu or btu? Device could have been bought from a car phone warehouse

Could have? If you aren't the original owner then you're going to have to guess. Car Phone Warehouse is a UK reseller, no? Based on what you're running now, the following is the same.

You could also try emergency recovery in the Smart Switch app from samsung. That would auto detect your S7 and choose the right firmware for you.

in smart switch, when i got the phone on fresh install asked me to select carrier my carrier 3 or i.D which belongs to carphone warehouse

I'm not entirely familiar with UK carriers, but I would guess that EE was the original carrier since that's the firmware you've got running now. Do you know if the phone has ever been flashed before?
