Why does my calendar widget no longer display stamps?

Hello. So, my phone randomly changed the appearance of the calendar widget. It used to show my stamps without me having to click on them like this:

But now it looks like this:

How do I get it back to looking like the first image?

I'm not using a separate application, but the widget that's offered by my Galaxy device as a default. I'm not too sure if that updates separately, and how I would access that

Well it would have helped if you knew the version of the widget so you could find an earlier version to reinstall on your device if there was an update that made the changes.
