Note 9 snapdragon or exynos?

I am about to buy the phone and i have both the options at the shop.
I care mostly about battery, i need it to last as much as possible. Unfortunately, i haven't seen any comparisons in terms of battery between the 2 models. I don't do gaming. I prefer it not to stutter in the menu and to open up aps quickly.

Which one would you recommend? both work well for my service provider

That is the most important consideration, all depending on who your service provider is and what country you're in. Because the only reason why Samsung uses Qualcomm Snapdragon in Note9, as opposed to their own Exynos, is because of CDMA network compatibility. So if you happen to be in the United States and your service provider is Sprint or Verizon, Exynos Note9 will NOT be compatible.

FYI Samsung only officially sells Snapdragon Note9 in China, Japan and US, rest of the world it's Exynos. Also beware grey import Samsungs, as Samsung will NOT honour warranty on those.

Same for Galaxy S9, S8, S7, and Note8.

I live in Europe, the provider is Orange. The shop where i will buy it from is a reputable one in my country
In terms of battery, which one is most recommended? both are the same price so the only deciding factor for me, at the moment, is battery. People keep saying snapdragon is above in that regard but i can't find any benchmarks

Mike has answered your question then... If you're in Europe, the answer is Exynos, as Samsung won't honour the warranty on your grey import Qualcomm...
..

The warranty is insured through the store that i will be buying from, regardless of the model. Which version holds the best in terms of battery?

if you are unable to find the answer to your question even from broad internet searches, then that should tell you the battery difference is not enough to make a choice betwixt one over the other.

i have 3 US snapdragon note 9s 128gb and they don't lag or stutter at all. i also don't do any gaming.

in your case its recommended to use exynos.
