Hi -
I have a lot of IOT devices in my home (Ring, Nest, Cameras, etc) and I have recently had a hell of time connecting to a WiFi network that does not have an Internet connection.
My devices (Pixel, Samsung Note 9 and Samsung tablet) constantly disconnect from the SSID if the device does not detect a connection to the Internet. This is incredibly frustrating, as I am often connecting to an SSID that is being broadcast by an IOT device that is right out of the box. I have to connectect to the IOT devices' SSID first, to edit it's information, and in turn allow it to connect to a regular SSID like the one my wireless router is broadcasting.
ANyone else experiencing this? Seems to be a problem with Android 8, 9, and higher. I can't believe this is an "improvement' to Android OS, as it will prohibit everyone from configuring IOT devices.
