Why is fastboot not detecting my zte phone?

hi, this is my first thing on this forum, and i need help with my android phone and fastboot.
im not shure what's going on, but my computer wount detect my phone in fastboot. i booted my phone into
the oem bootloader, and my computer won't detect it. Im running linux mint, and my phone is running android 6.0.1, and the number is Z836BL. Ill put a screenshot, of when I try to do anything in fastboot. (Ive tryed installing drivers, and my phone is in the oem bootloader.)

Please help!

Zte has actually disabled fastboot capability since KitKat 4.4.2. The Axon7 might be an exception tho..

Does your ZTE phone mount properly when it's running normally? If it doesn't there could be just a USB cable issue. Try a different cable, or if you're plugging it into a USB hub try plugging it directly into a USB port on your Mint PC.

Is USB Debugging enabled on your ZTE phone?
