Dot in the notification bar

So i randomly got a dot in my notification bar and after i get a notification the dot disappears and its been about 30 mins and it hanst reappeared does anyone what this might be

So the dot disappears after getting a notification? What side is the dot on, left or right? Does it reappear after a reboot? Does it matter what notification you get that makes it disappear?

Is the dot a solid color? When the dot is there, is there any indication of what it could be when you pull the notification bar down?

It was on the left side i didnt reboot my phone i just saw it and after a minute i got a notification and it disappeared.
The color is a bit fade its white but see trough and when i pull down the notification bar nothing appears
The dot nust came out of nowhere and it disappeared and it still hasnt reappeared so i dont what it could be

Hmm, if you can, reboot the phone to see if it reappears.
Then take a screen shot of it and post it here.
I'm wondering if it could be some app that is placing it there...did you download any new apps and then notice this dot?

I forgot i actually took a screenshot of it so here you go and ill restart my phone and see if anything happens/edit the dot didn't appear after resetting the phone

As far as I know there are 2 versions of these dots. They both appear on the left side of the notification bar, although at alternative sides. (Left or right)

If the dot appears on the left side it normally means a process is happening in the background. For me it would appear if I was copying files from internal to external device and then leave the app to do something else. Once the process was complete it would disappear. (No way to interact with it)

If the dot appears on the right side it means there are too many notifications to display, a swipe down will allow you to see all these notifications and if you swipe one or two away the dot disappears.
