Troubleshooting 504

The troubleshooting 504 started from when I tried to update youtube. I tried clearong data, cache, and force stopping Google Playstore and Google Play. I am uaing Lenovo tab3 710f

The current version of YouTube is not compatible with your device, you already have the latest supported version. Use APK method if you want to try another version of YouTube app.
I factory reset my tablet a month ago, now its on the lowest version now. I tried using apk, but it didn't work

Try in this order:
-- go back into Settings >> Apps;
-- use 'Force stop' first, then 'Clear data' on the Google Play Store app;
-- use 'Force stop' first, the 'Clear data' on the Google Play Services app;
-- restart your device, then open up the Play Store app, go back to 'My apps & games', and see if app updates is working again.

When it was rebooting it takes so long to open the rablet. It was stuck in the logo

Just to clarify, that 504 error message occurred while you were using the Play Store app or the Youtube app?
Re-reading your posting I still think you're referring to a problem with the Play Store app, but the thread has apparently shifted to trying to fix a problem with the Youtube app.

Sorry for the confusion. I was typing thos thread late at bight trying to fix the problem

Well focusing on 'fixing' the Youtube app isn't going to solve your problem then. Whether it was the Youtube app or any app being updated is irrelevant, that 504 error message was tied to the Play Store app or Play Services.

Now its 910

I'm still unclear as to your exact problem. Did that initial 504 error message occur while the Play Store app was running or while you were using the Youtube app? This thread has two very different topics now.

OK, so I'd focus more on the Play Store app or its related services as the actual problem, not so much on the Youtube app.
