Root Kindle Fire HD 7" working playstore

I have followed your instructions to a tee.

except once installing vending.apk i cannot seem to login. screen goes white for 1 sec and then directly back to the kindle main screen.

any idea was the issue is

make sure permissions are set to rw-r-r. if that is good. then delete vending.apk..reboot.. instead of cutting and pasting just move vending into system/app folder...set permissions rw-r-r. do not tap on vending just reboot again..and then go back and tap on it to install and try and sign in again.
 
Hi Is there anyway to do this without registration ? I bought my kindle fire on ebay and was told by amazon that it had been reported stolen/lost I have tried to get ebay to refund but they refuse I reported it to the Police and supplied the name and address of the seller and they have done nothing. I asked Amazon for the name of the original owner so I could return it but they wont let me. So after 5 months I am stuck with a
 
hi i followed your guide and it works perfectly except for one thing after installing the Google Play, it doesn't create a icon under the apps. I'm not sure why, well actually it does create an icon but it says Google Play Settings and it just goes into the settings menu, but not the actual Google Play store, the only way that opens is if i install the whole thing all over again and then click on the open button at the end of the install. not sure what i'm doing wrong

I've managed to do all of the instructions, except from signing into the Google Play Store. I cannot seem to find the "Market" place in the "Apps" folder.
..and so there is a message saying "Google Play Store has stopped."

Also, I had previously installed the Store, and for some unknown reason "Google Play Store has stopped." kept reappearing, and so I decided to reinstall it.


Would you be able to help?
 
hello. i am new to the tableteering world and i am utterly stuck with many steps. how do i cut and paste a file? and where to? i think i need to have step by step basic instructions. pwease help me
 
I was trying to download the apk files needed for the fire hd and they are no longer located at the link. Is there anyway to get them reposted? Thanks
 
The link to dropbox didn't work. It gave me an error 404 message. I tried on my kindle and my computer and on neither did I succeed. Could someone give me an alternate or updated link?
