Reset, Complete

I have the MOTO e5 Plus with v8.0.0. I am new to cell phones and in my attempt to understand them I may have set some settings that I do not want. How do I perform a complete system reset and start fresh again? All assistance and comments are welcome.

Before you reset, please make sure you either know the proper credentials for the account you used to setup the phone, or that you remove ALL accounts before you perform a factory reset. You could accidentally lock yourself out of your phone with FRP (Factory Reset Protection)

Did the reset and without having your advice, at the time, I believe I the reset went alright. Only time will tell. Thank you for your reply.
