I want different notification sounds

Hello.
My 'phone settings show different notification sounds for text messages and emails, yet when I receive either, it only plays the email notification sound. Can anyone suggest something I can do to resolve this ?

You have to add sounds to your notifications folder. Then once added you can choose them in the appropriate app.
