The USB post on my one and a half year old LG K8 phone has became faulty unfortunately. It still charges, but it won't enable file transfers from my PC to the phone.
What I'm referring to is the screen that brings up file transfers on the home screen, and connects it to a PC.
I regular transferred items from the PC to the phone before this started occurring, and need to find a way to perform this.
What I could try is uploading them to somewhere on the internet and downloading them, but I am unsure as to how to get them to the specific folder I want them in. I don't want to replace the phone yet, as it is only about 25-50% through it's operational life.
And to make things more of a nuisance, dropbox.com fails to load on my phone. It always gets to about 85%, then hangs indefinitely.
But I personally find this to be an inconvenience, and would like to know if it still possible to get files in the folder I intend to have them placed in. Is there way to fix available for a faulty USB socket? I am not an expert on smart phones admittedly. It is extremely inconvenient not being able to transfer them.
