I'm thinking of trading in the note 9 for the s9 plus. I barely use the s-pen I like the design more.

Yeh, apart from the stylus, I think it's really just the aesthetics that differentiates the two.

I have a Galaxy tablet and the only reason I have it is the s-pen. But if you don't need it then there's little reason to buy the Note IMO.

Is there a financial benefit for trading? While the Note 9 is about $150 more than the S9+ brand new, what do you get for yours since it's no longer new? There's not much difference and the S9+ certainly isn't an upgrade.

I could sell it for more and get one unlocked from Amazon easily.

If you like big phones like tablets its good for you, but i still pref standard s9. Check standard S9 its amazing!
