Can you change fonts using Nova launcher?

I have the pixel 3xl. Is there a way to use nova launcher to change the fonts without rooting?
Thanks in advance!

You can use Nova launcher without rooting on any phone. I use it on my unrooted Moto X4

Stock Nova might not have custom fonts setting, but you should try different Nova themes, they usually come with style customization and icons.

Since Nova is a launcher its themes can only change fonts on the desktop and app drawer, since those are the things that Nova provides. No launcher can change fonts system-wide (i.e. in Settings, other apps): if the ROM doesn't provide that (which a Pixel ROM won't) you cannot do it, or at least not without root.

I reached out to pixel support, and they said to get an app from the play store to do it. Any suggestions? Many have bad reviews with ads

The only way you can truly accomplish this system wide is with root access. For example, on a rooted phone you can install a Magisk module that can change fonts system wide from many fonts to choose from.

Some phones come stock with a few fonts to choose from. These are usually phones like LG that come with a very modified version of android. It would be under settings/display/font type.

The Pixel comes with stock android. I believe stock android does not have extra fonts to choose from.

Try HTC Sense 8 launcher, I didn't use Sense launcher on other phones but on my HTC 10 I can change the fonts for one of the themes. I had lot of fun with it until I switch to Nova.

I could not find that launcher. Do you have a link? Thanks!

The actual HTC launcher will only work on a HTC device. I don't know whether anyone has tried to make a port which doesn't rely on the HTC Sense framework.

That was the way Sense launcher used to be, but I've read that from version 8 it will be a standalone app and will work across devices, only some special features actually require an HTC phone.

Wait for Android 10/Q to come around. Rumor has it that might be adding the ability to change the font in that version.
