Problems recording sound with Snapchat

When I record videos in the Snapchat-app, the volume is sooooo low. I can't record a normal happening and get a video that plays the sound normally.
If I talk really loud in to the microphone, the video will have my voice muffled but audible. But normal music/conversations will not be audible.


Does anyone know how to fix this?

The sound using the actual phone for phone conversation is no problem,so I suspect it's in the recording device the problem lies.

Ahh, good question. I hadn't tried that before and... It's just as bad. Sooo, I quess it's the sound recorder on the videorecorder that's "broken" sort of.

In that case, I'd suggest reaching out to Pixel Support to see if they can help you arrange for an RMA. It sounds to me like there might be a problem with the secondary microphone that's used for noise cancellation and audio during video recording.
