Android box no sound

On my box Tanix TX3 proI have installed MX player which worked very long time very good until yesterday. Now it doesn`t gives me no sound even with files that worked good before. Sometimes it gives me popup that it doesn`t support EAC3 audio. I tryed with this video

but (I presumme that codec is activated automaticlly) no sound again. On Kodi there is sound but for some reason KODI sometimes just exit randomly.

I installed Archos video player, it gives me message no EAC3 audio.

I deleted cache and data from MX player, it gives sound on first file I played but no on other files. When I returned to that first file again no sound again. Solution to this?

"no EAC3 audio.".... Many Android devices do NOT include Enhanced-AC3 codecs as standard, basically because of stiff Dolby patent licensing fees, which device manufacturers would need to pay.
Similarly with videos that use the DTS codecs, that are also subject to stiff licensing terms and fees.

MX uses whatever built-in codecs the device has, whereas Kodi uses its own codecs, including EAC3.

Try VLC instead, as that can play pretty much anything reliably, and also uses its own built-in codecs

- I installed VLC media player and there is sound but there is one problem. I tryed 2 mkv, 2 mp4 and one avi file and only in mkv everything is fine. In mp4 and avi there is sound but it is out of sync from the start. Any solution to this?

- Also does sound icon need to be with crossed (look like something is wrong)? If I put in digital sound auto detection it always changes to PCM. Box is connected with HDMI. I tryed some other audio like youtube and audio player and there is sound so I don`t know why icon is crossed.

The remote probably can't scroll. Try using a PC mouse with the box. I suspect the software was really designed for touch-screens, i.e. phones and tablets.

As for the sound sync problems. Maybe bad encoding? Do they play aright on a computer, or other device?

Speaker with a cross through it icon, can mean the sound is disabled for some reason, or it's just muted

- I think I will need to buy a airmouse, it is only practical solution to use with a box on tv.
- I disabled hardware acceleration in VLC and now everything works fine:D:D Only small problem with VLC that in tab Videos it won`t show new files I add on usb stick. I tryed refresh but it didn`t work. Instead I use Directories tab.
- Sound works fine now, I don`t know why it is still crossed.
