WiFi access prob

Hi, over public WiFi I get "a secure connection could not be established" for only one web page (via Google) this is the only page I need on my Galaxy ace 2, ALL other pages are ok and I CAN access the required page on my android tablet over the same wifi, what's going on?

What version of Android do you have on that phone? It's pretty old. It could be that it doesn't support current TLS protocols.

Hi, Android 2.3.6 gingerbread. I've tried using a couple of other web search apps and get the same result, but only on that one web page. I even tried contacting the IT of that page (a local bus company) who reported no problems.

Gingerbread is almost 10 years old. Official support on all levels ended in 2017 so I'm not surprised that you are running into security issues.
