Help Google Drive/Messenger Disconnect

I can no longer send files from Google Drive to FB Messenger or SMS text since a security update a couple days ago

Try saving the file from google drive to your storage and then upload through fb messenger. Also you can try shifting the files from one folder to the new folder and then send through fb or sms.

I'm sure that will work. But why do we need the extra steps when we could do it in one step last week? Why is Android taking away functionality?

Maybe there are some data errors regarding security or privacy that's why it has been done in their security updates.

They should be able to correct errors without reducing functionality. We have been robbed
