Help Phone Ghost Pressing?

Hello, I have a moto z2 force and I just suddenly started experiencing this issue. So for example in snapchat, I'll be on the screen where you can look at all your contacts. After a minute or two, my phone will by itself go to the camera screen where you would take a picture. When typing to people, my keyboard will randomly close itself. In YouTube videos, it would put me back into my browser where I searched the video while the video remained a small window.

I turned on the setting to show touches so I could see if it was pressing the back button or a part of the screen. But, I do not see anything show up. I've downloaded the "Navigation Gestures" app which allowed me to hide my navigation bar and replace it with a "pill," which would then use gestures you set to do the various shortcuts. Still, with no luck, the issues continued. I tried putting the pill at the top of my screen to see if that would change anything. The issues remained.

Does anyone know of a solution? Or anything I can try to attempt fixing this?

Try using your phone in safe mode, if the issue continues, you have a bigger issue, but if it doesn't, that would mean that you have an app that is causing this issue and it would be a matter of time to find out which one.

To enter safe mode, search online how to do so on your phone.

Is your phone in a case, one that covers the screen? Or does it have a standalone screen shield/protector? If so, it's possible they're just loose or misaligned. Happens to me sometimes when I take apart an Otterbox Defender case to clean its screen, and then fail to put the case back together properly.

I just now attempted this and I couldn't effectively test whether or not the issue was still occurring. This is because I notice the issue right away in SnapChat because it puts me into my camera screen from the contact screen. However, since downloaded apps are disabled in safemode, I couldn't find any app that would immediately show the issue.

My case does not cover the screen. Anyways, I have tried taking off the case and cleaning the screen with no results.

Well, thank you everyone for your help. The issue has been solved. Funny enough, it was an app that was causing the issue, but this devious little application happens to be Dairy Queen's app to place orders ahead. I never would have guessed until I just started uninstalling things I thought were around the time the issue started appearing. I use an app called Parallel Space which allows you to run two apps at the same time and I figured that had to be it, but nope, it was Dairy Queen.
