Undo reset app preferences

Hey there. I was having an issue with my launcher app, go launcher, and I read online, that resetting app preferences may fix the problem. I have a Samsung galaxy s9. Well I reset app preferences, and now I'm having a different problem! Whenever I try to apply a theme, not only does it not apply, but the wallpaper is just a blank screen! Also, every time I restart my phone, the wallpaper that I EVENTUALLY set, goes away again! And the icon theme goes back to original, factory theme!! SOOO aggravating!! How do i fix this?? Please help!!!

Doesn't your launcher have a backup/restore feature? Mine does. Look through its options and see if you can generate a backup. Then save a copy somewhere accessible and restore it after reinstalling the launcher.

I acutally did try out Go Launcher, I am pretty sure there is no back up for it, download the background you really want, or take a screen shot and make that your wallpaper.

Actually I just backed up everything. There's a selection for backup in settings. Thanks again.
