Hey guys I was doing some photo shooting at an outdoor light show and just using the auto can all the blues would come out pinkish... Anyone experience this? And know a remedy for it? Is my phone broken or something?
I can only think of one possibility. When using Auto, there is an icon of three faces on the top of the screen. When you tap that it gives you different colors to tint or filter your photo. Check to see if it is set to something other than neutral (the first square) by accident.Hey guys I was doing some photo shooting at an outdoor light show and just using the auto can all the blues would come out pinkish... This is a long shot. Do you have a thick colored case on your phone. I've read some cases cause a halo around pictures, maybe tinting your photos with bright sunlight? (I know, this is way out there)I checked it was selected on None.. I really think it's the lense... Anything else I could try?

My last idea is that it could be the bulbs in the photo and the way the camera picks them up. Did you try shooting them with and/or without flash? Any difference? Does it happen in any other setting? If it happens all the time, then I think it's the phone. If this was the only case, then it might be the bulbs you were shooting. When I take photos with different lamps using different bulbs, I'm never sure want color my photo will be tinted. So I try with & without flash to see which I like. To correct it, try using the filters I mentioned before and see what happens. To correct the photos you have, you can use a photo app that has corrections. The photo app that came with our phone has all you need. Bring up the photo and tap the icon with 3 lines. That will give you preset changes. Tap that icon again and you have complete control over the photo's colors. Please let me know.No not really my case is black and it's not very think either look I'll attach the picture in question, it's supposed to be blue and white and look how it came out...

I'm pretty sure the flash was off.. the other pictures I took at this place were ok the blue came out blue it was really just in there that I came out like that the video I took was pink as well as the photo but all the other stuff I took came out blue it's weird
Since it was only in that one place, I doubt it is the camera. I really think it was those specific bulbs that caused the color to be off. I played with the photo app that came with the camera. View attachment 146431
Is this any better?

It took a few steps so bare with me. I'll include a screenshot of each step and it isn't that difficult.Yeah it's not perfect but a lot better than the original what did you do???
Thank you very much I'm still playing around with it, would you happen to have any tips on how to get rid of the grainy image through the camera? It's quite bad actually that is!😁😁
It could be your photo size setting. When using the still camera, tap the gear on the top left. That will give you the settings. On the bottom there are 4 circles. Then second one from the left has a camera icon. Tap that. It will bring up a list of photo sizes. The more pixels, the finer the photo. (Less grain when enlarging). The larger the photo size, the bigger you can blow it up without making it grainy. I keep mine on the largest size, which takes up the most room. So I store my photos on my SD card (128 GB)
Please let me know if it helped. Good luck!Ok ok cool I'm gonna try that see if it'll help, the wide angle is the clearest it's really the other too that are bad

Yup. Here it is: View attachment 147923
I also just did some testing. In low light situations, the 'AI' setting is less grainy than 'Auto'.

While I absolutely agree with you, there may be a problem with the LG V40. It has 3 camera lenses and I haven't found any add on lens or filter that would work with it. I did have a single camera phone prior to the LG and I used many different attachments. Unfortunately, none of them fit the LG V40. If you have found some, please let me/us know. It would be invaluable.I've seen this myself. What it is, some blue LEDs also put out quite a lot of UV light(not harmful). Your eyes can't see it, but the phone's camera can, and appears as like that mauve tint. The proper fix is really to use a UV filter in front of the camera lens when taking the picture. UV filters are quite a common accessory for DSLR cameras, where they can be screwed onto the lens. A UV filter to the human eye appears as plain glass, and has no effect on visible light.
I believe the lagging is more related to the amount of light and the difficulty getting in focus. In bright light "AI" & "Auto" are about the same. In low light, both are slower (have more lag) with "AI" being a little slower. With photos where the field of view is more complex (lots of items in the picture at varying distances) again both settings are slower and can take a horrible amount of time to shoot.Does it help with the lagging too?
