Google Play Stuck at Downloading ? Fix

I am new here so hope its OK to start this thread ? .

Had this problem a few times but this works on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Nougat OS and also helped someone else..so thought I would share as might help others.

Close Down Google Play Store App..

Then go..Settings..connections...data usage...mobile data usage...scroll down list of Apps to Media tap this..select to allow background data usage and also allow unrestricted data usage if you have data saver enabled..

Then go settings...Applications...select Google Play Store App..FORCE STOP and then tap ...storage..clear data and clear cache.

Then go to Apps launch Google Play Store and try again.

Just clearing data and cache didn't work for me .FORCE STOP and then clearing them dose.

You might want to clean the cache for "Download Manager" and "Downloads".
Or, just delete up the all data at
/data/data/com.android.providers.download/
and reboot you device after.
Google Play using download service and just tracking the progress of this service.

Usually it works if I go to Apps -> Play Store -> clean cache, delete data and force stop, but nowdays it wont work so I just simply won't download any updates anymore since I just simply can't so... I just live with the fact that android/google don't want to my phone being secured anymore.

I got the same issue . My play store just stuck on downloading after noughat update . After a month searching for sollution now my playstore can running perfectly just go to setting / apps / option / reset app preference . Done

Clear data and cache in downloads manager. That usually gets things moving again.

Turn off bluetooth. Restart phone.
Can turn bluetooth back on after. Will fix
for quite a while but can repeat if happens again.
