Motorola G5 Plus dosen't recognize my Sim card

Pleas provide more details about the SIM card's history, a little more context would be helpful.
-- Does this SIM card work in a different phone?
-- Have you confirmed the account this SIM card is tied to is still active?
-- Is it a new SIM card, or has it been used previously and you're just switching to a different phone?
-- Have you already tried just re-seating the SIM card in its slot?
If you have already tried different things and the card just isn't working out, it could just be a matter where the card is bad or has failed in some way. Contact your carrier and ask to get a replacement.

-- This SIM card workes in a different phne. It works on the my husbands identical device.
-- It is not a new SIM card. After I turned off the device and turned it on, after 24 hours, I'vegor a mesaage "NO SIM CARD".

That sounds like the SIM reader could be broken. It maybe possible for a competent phone tech to repair.
