Ok, I used the HD recording app and my 1more Quad driver wired earphones. First, there were different settings to use so I just kept tapping next and used the default settings. While recording my voice, there was absolutely no delay. I heard what I said through my earphones without any delay. I hope that's what you wanted to know. Actually, after thinking about it and trying it, a delay makes no sense. I spoke into the microphone on my earset, a delay in hearing what I said makes no sense. I can't figure out how there could be a delay. There isn't any processing of my voice unless it is being manipulated by the app. Check the apps settings for doing something to your voice.

Ok thanks!!!!!!! I use the custom setting, you can insert a song and song over it, it's only while the phone is listening to me but not recording, I have it set to use the phone mic to record... Did you have these same things? Looks like this

Ok I can't upload the pic for some reason but it's just when the phone is listening but not recording sometimes if I record it's a bit off but not always is there a delay when you have the earphones connect the app open and listening but not recording?

This screening the app
I was going to ask you how can you use the phone's mic to record when your earphones are plugged in, but it isn't necessary. I was watching TV when I set up the app & plugged in my earphones. Before I did anything else, the TV sound through my earphones was slightly delayed from the sound coming from the TV. The same thing occurred when I spoke. I thought I was using the earphone's mic, but with further investigating, I was using the phone's. (Because it doesn't work using the earphones)
In summary, I DO have the delay that you do and I think it has something to do with the way the app processes the sound. I don't think it's a bug.

PERFECT DUDE YOU'RE THE BEST, I really appreciate the help I thought it was that too but I wasn't 100% sure wanted to confirm with someone else thanks for helping me out 😁

I am not familiar with the app in question, but I do have some other apps that have a similar affect.

Most pronounced is the Microphone app, which basically makes use of the phone's mic to be used on a PA system or similar.

There is a delay that is quite obvious, through wired phones and via bluetooth.

According to the dev, it is an Android thing, and cannot be delt with in the app.

It takes some practice, but you can get used to it and work around/with it.

It is much like someone speaking on a microphone while in a stadium.
