The 5th update for the global, Exynos, model, SM-G98*B, has been released for my unbranded U.K. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G phone. The update is G988BXXU1ATD5 and is just for, "The security of your device has been improved.", this time.

Hi notableuser!

There are no camera improvements listed for this TD5 update for the global Exynos model.

All the camera improvements, so far, came in the 3 updates, TBM, TCH and TCT for the global Exynos model.

i confess that I am no expert on photography but there are those who say that those 3 updates did bring improvements for the camera auto focus. If you have the global model, you should already have those 3 updates and can judge for yourself.

im in the USA where its full blown covid 19 and we have snapdragon. exynos or not, what do YOUR EYES SEE on auto focus and is it focusig at all before I blow 1400 USD on a dead camera device.

IMHO, those 3 updates on the global model have brought improvements and the camera now does not seem to struggle as it first did, to focus, particularly on closeup shots.

Please note that the U.S.A./Snapdragon carrier minority variants have NOT received any such camera updates since launch.

I find that very strange that Samsung should say that.

I think you will find that all the USA Snapdragon models had an update in April 2020 which included the April Security patch.
