Help Lock Screen when Application is Running

Hi,

I have downloaded an application named Meeting Room 365, which basically shows if a meeting room is available or not. I am setting it up on my Galaxy Note 9 for testing.

I have noticed that when the app is running, the screen does not automatically lock (I have set this to 15 seconds for testing). Of course the screen locks if the app is not running.

Is there a way to force the screen to lock without pressing the power button when the app is running? I tried to do a little search online but could not find anything. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

There is an app called Wave Up.

It is a very simple app that is designed to turn on/off and lock the screen When the proximity sensor is covered.

Basically, this means that you set your phone to do wht you want, then cover the top of the screen for a moment, and the screen will turn on/off.

The amount of time for this action is adjustable.

Yes, it is designed to turn the screen on by waving over the phone.
But it also can be set to turn the screen off as well.
