Hello,

Got this incoming on my phone, it's a txt viewed with File viewer. Is that log Samsungs backup or what?

Is that connected to onedrive, can it be associated with hacking activity?

Welcome to Android Forums @Splitsecond55 :)

Im not certain but it looks to me like "Microsoft Skydrive" app syncing/uploading your data to their cloud service. The newer versions of this app is "Microsoft One drive".

Yes, I thought that as well. OneDrive is not in use (installed though but not configured), that's what's boggling me. Like someone else would be running backups from my phone. Maybe it is too far fetched.
I have Norton 360 on my phone, should recognize any intrusion attempts etc.

What kind of smartphone do you have and what is your current OS? What's your security patch level ?

Are you signed into Microsoft "skydrive or OneDrive" account on you android? If so maybe you should review your account sync and privacy settings before signing out.
As far as Norton and Onedrive both were pre-installed on my Samsung. I've been a rooted user for many, many years and one of the first thing I do is debloat my android. Being that as it may, I have little experience with Norton or Microsoft Onedrive. As much as I would like to assist you, I feel this is best left to @ocnbrze @MoodyBlues , @mikedt or @Hadron . :)

Hello,

I'm not signed in to Onedrive, that's weird to get sync logs despite not logged?!

Phone is Samsung Galaxy J6 (2018), March 1st security patch. Android 10. It's not in English, don't send any screenshots because of that. The weird thing is despite not having signed in to onedrive, I have received some old pictures/files from an old account. Main Gmail acount is not the same in my old phones (phone main account). I have not synced any pictures or files via bluetooth or other apps. I'm not sure this can be solved, maybe should wipe the phone and re-install everything, files can't appear randomly if no accounts are connected for sync.

If you don't have any need for OneDrive go into your Settings >> Apps menu, find and open the app, tap on the Force stop button, find and tap on the Clear data button (this removes any configuration and settings files for the app, and the app's cache), and then tap on the Disable button. If you installed the app there would be an Uninstall button, with pre-installed apps if you use Disable than at least the app/service won't be running in the background.

Are you signed into your Samsung account?

Yes I'm signed in to Samsung account. I could try to stop the Onedrive service. Onedrive could be uninstalled, if not used by Samsung account.

Thank you all for your input on this!

I decided to wipe the phone and reinstall. Let's see after that. Closing (marked as solved) thread.
