Help FB Messenger: Messages 'stuck' on sent

In FB Messenger my messages get stuck on 'sent' for about a day before it's marked as received. This happens with just one person though. I thought the person blocked me but if that was the case the messages would be stuck on sent forever right? Or will they get the received mark after a while, even if the person has blocked you? I can still see the last seen status of that person both on Facebook and FB Messenger.

Well try to clear out your password settings, and your cookies, also do a quick scan over how many apps you have running in the bg, etc.

It happens with just one person. It's not an app wide problem.

They or you have a bad connection. Or have chat turned off.
