Is there any way to just browse to mail.google.com and login to a gmail account without being forced to install the google profile on my phone? My work requires a work profile and for them to be able to control my device. On a pc, you can go to mail.google.com and login. But, when I try mail.google.com, it only shows my non work profile email addresses. If I try to sign in with a different email address, it automatically forces androids account manager to go through the steps as if I wanted to install the account on the phone. I don't want to install the account on the phone. I only want to view it in a webpage.

Just use your browser.
You will need to sign in to Google, but it is all within the browser.

Yeh, try using a different browser that isn't connected to the Google account on your phone, like say Firefox or Opera, and you should be able to login using your desired Gmail account.

That is what I thought too, but after reading OP again, it seems to me that the work profile is not appearing.
To me, this sounds like the work account needs to be linked to the personal account.
I cannot remember how this is done, but I do know that it is possible.
