Does this phone hold up after six months or more?

I've had mine for almost 6 months and it shows no signs of quitting. Actually, the longer I have it, the more efficient it runs. It learns how you use it (a little green light flashes) As it learns, it flashes less & less. Now it flashes only when I install a new app or try something I haven't done before. I've also dropped it a number of times without harm. I do have a case & a bonded screen protector. This is the most expensive phone I've had and I'm very happy with it. Good luck .

I thought the little green light indicates that an app was using the camera and/or the microphone?

You are partially correct and so was I. When I first started using my phone, the green light was constantly on and driving me crazy. The longer I used the phone, the less I saw the green light. As of now, I almost never see the light. However, you are correct too. There are different green lights, differentiated by the icon within it. The microphone and camera do illicit the light with their own icons. I'm not sure which icon the light had in the beginning. If I had to guess, I'd say a battery. (If anyone knows for sure, please correct me)
I hope this helps.
