Call of Duty MW2

Doooooood. I wait for the day I hit 60 and get the F2K. Sure, it's hard to handle but come onnnnn. Satisfaction kills are better than no recoil ACR kills. Amirite?

All the attachments minus FMJ. Got all of them yesterday ahaha. I love the F2K.

I dunno but a kill is just a kill, imo lol. Anything that gets me closer to a Harrier/Emergency Airdrop/Chopper Gunner
 
Well I've always said I'd never buy this game for PC since IW completely screwed us with the multiplayer. I just got a new Radeon 5850 and it included MW2 for free. I guess I'll play it now.
 
Ugh this game is such an obvious console port. The PC controls feel so clunky and the graphics are no better than the 360. Why they included this game with such an awesome graphics card blows my mind. The game doesn't even utilize the power of it.
 
I'm waiting to see what they will do with BO to be honest. Two things that make me want to believe is:

- Commando is removed
- They thought MW2 was too friendly, so they removing the insane killstreaks. I hope with this, they are revamping the weapon recoil and such as well. Since in my opinion, the weapons in MW2 is far to easy to use.

Guess you can say, bye bye no scoping/quick scoping brats as well while we are at it. :)

Commando is supposed to be gone, and with that it has been said that the combat knife is going to be a secondary apparently.
 
Combat knife a secondary? Eh. Not a huge fan of commando, and I HATE the quick scoping tools. HATE HATE HATE.
 
Multiplayer would be a lot better if there actually was recoil. I'd love to see someone actually shoot 30 rounds full auto through an AK in real life and not have any muzzle climb. It won't happen.
 
Dusted off my MW2 last night again, it's funny how bored I get playing it now. I used to love it so much. I guess I was getting lucky in the rooms I entered b/c I had no less than 20 kills per match.
 
Well, I do hope they remove tactical knife as I said over there. This is a shooting game not some street fighter on acid game. I still hold those two statements im giving out now true:

"Knife is used for last resort, not a way to rack up a killstreak." This applies to all combo's and range of the knife atm. I felt they got it perfect before this game, but this game changed the knife range to be a bit insane to be honest.

Sniper should require some skills, I remember in last call of duties where I needed atleast 3000-4000 kills with sniper before I could say I was above average. All you need now is a good hour and you can run around like its some SMG.

But enough bah about it, I just hope treyarch listen to the right people. So far on the forums they are more tighter with the community and let us express ideas seriously which they didn't in IF. With that it might be a hope for us players after all, though I will wait and see. Buy it yes, think its awesome before its out. Nope.
 
Disagree, but from seeing MW2. I'd say its a good game with some extreme flaws. So I'm not sure about the difference as it is. I might be very biased or want my gameplay to be hard, but I felt that was the worst mistake IW did with the game: they wasn't great with their fans, game itself is very good, but also some extremely badflaws. :p

Thus I will not say ex-IW is better now or worse, but I hope for a positive surprise from Treyarch. Since that will be my last COD game most likely. :)

Like which flaws? I can't necessarily think of any besides knife range and spawn points. All the other major issues have been resolved via patches to the game.
 
Lets jump up:

1) No beta, which did result into lots of major bugs that was going on for months.
2) Knife range like you said.
3) Dedicated serves need to be in a game like this.
4) In all FPS games out there, it have never been so many people in ONE single gaming using a attachment the whole time. (Granade Launcer)
5) Tactical Insertion, the thought behind it was brilliant. Though the aftermatch which was easily foreseen was not, the tool of the boosters in all gamemodes.
6) The explosion radius is way of the grid.
7) Spawn was hmm, but let's face it there. Most FPS mess up the spawns, though I must admit this is IW bad heel in their games.
8) Most weapons feels the same, there is some differences in some few weapons. (mpk/f2000) Where I did feel challanged when using them.
9) Killstreaks, man I love the idea of custom killstreaks, I dont like the idea of 5 kills with my barrel usual results in 10-20 kills that I dont do at all.
10) Certain unbalanced sets of perks.

I think these representate certain major/minor flaws in IWs game, the beta would probably saved us for most glitches. There was some weapon bugs and still one weapon that aint fixed (UMP + sil) which doesn't get range or damage reduction, while being just as powerful as a AR.

Unbalances with Perks: Quick Scoping, LW/Mara, Commando, OMA/DC/Tube. These are things they could have foreseen in my eyes.

Feel free to be against what I'm saying here though, but I felt this and slightly unstable Matchmaking Server made this game to bit hmmm.... Though it is one of the best modern FPS games ever nevertheless. The story elements and the way the go through the singleplayer is epic, but I felt they lacked a lot in multiplayer aspect.

Though what I said here could been a result from Actionvision and what they said they wanted as well, I ain't going to shoot too many monkey's in my post. :)

Those are my reason, and yes - My favorite COD by far is COD and COD2! That's bit what I miss about the newest COD. I hope this post helps a bit and clearify what I meant by it Hitman. :)

Well, I can reason with a majority of your ideas which seem like flaws but n00b tubing is a personal preference. You cannot say the game is flawed if a majority of people want to be assholes and use a cheap weapon. It's available to everyone but not everyone decides to use it. I also do not see anything wrong with Tact Inserts either. Explosive radius is a bit excessive, I agree but it's not bad to the point where I just would give up the game and quit playing altogether.

The rest of your statement I pretty much stand in agreement with. Either way, I still will stand extremely firm on the fact that Treyarch develops garbage and like someone else mentioned the only thing that they have made that was worthwhile was Nazi Zombies on CoD: World at War (which I haven't even played and don't intend on playing).
 
From noob tubes perspective, they could done a COD4 there. Good bye perk 1 and slight adjustment to explosive radius in general.

Well, tac insertion is a lovely idea in people that want to play! Like myself, I use it now and then when defending or going for attack in demolition now and then. That's where I think it shines, but it also boosters favorite tool with say shield. This might been elminated with having cage matches back into the gamemode.

I'm not sure what I want to say about this game, what made me like WaW was some of their quick thinking. What made me dislike it was some of the unfinished mp maps and the graphics felt little bit grainy.

And if you want to be extremely picky, you can reswitch bandoiler with scavanger, stick to 2x items and keep little bit unrealistic feature from cod4. Weapons that share ammo, that way they remove slightly bit the opportunity to get infinite cleys and such. This is just being picky tho lol

Though I'm giving MW2 something as a good thing, I liked the new gamemode demolition and search & destroy is super fun in this game. There is some spawns that tick me off on the defender spawn, but again I feel that gamemode is among the best SnD gamemodes I have played for a very long time. :)

I didn't dig zombies when I had first got the game, but a few months ago my buddy bought the map packs, and holy hell its mighty addicting
 
No matter how perfect a gamer is there will always be someone complaining about it. Because there usually getting owned. All I ever wanted was a socom like room making option. Where you can choose to eliminate weapons from a game. No niib tubes.knives.etc. Whatever you want. Customizable
