What's a porch thief to do?
Probably avoid the porch. We're in small town Tennessee and I'm confident that our front porch decor is a good deterrent...

That reminds me of a sign a neighbor put up when the looting started after the California fires. The sign said "Attention Looters!" Then a picture of an AK, followed by "Make My Day"
