I'm pimpin because I pre-ordered my EVO and had no worries getting mine thread

waiting at my bb for them to open, playing on netbook with sprint aircard. no one here, maybe one other dude in his car. appointment is at 10, no worries. *pimpin

I'm in the same boat... appointment isn't until 6:00 this afternoon. All you guys who were able to go in before work and get your phones suck, and of course I'd be right there with you if I could have worked it out some way LOL
 
Wait did you get a free Bluetooth or a $20 giftcard? Oh wait, no you didn't cause you are bragging on the chance to not pre-order. Who brags on that anyway...lol. Some people will always have an L stamped on their forehead
 
Got to my local Best Buy at 7:30 AM. There were already about 6 people picking up phones.

It is amazing, Ive only used the sprint and google nav apps so far (on my way to work, about 20 miles).

Super fast, responsive, beautiful bright screen. Cant wait 'till I get home ! Any questions, Ill do my best to answer :D
 
30 minutes till I get mine.

I'm really exicited about two things, well 3

1. Getting away from my iPhone (Oh how I loathe the device as a phone)
2. Getting a (IMO) nicer device than any phone I've owned. The hardware is kick ass period.
3. Moving to android. I've run the gauntlet w/ Winmo, Mac OS on iPhone, now Android. Should be fun.... Just hope we get a TRUE skype app for it.
 
No preorder here, showed up at Sprint store at 8am was like 10 people in front of me but they had 9 reps serving people so I was in and out in about 20 minutes with my new EVO and I got a 25% discount on my bill every month LOL Loving Sprint so far!


P.S. This phone is freaking amazing :D

7:45 here outside of bestbuy. 2hours till they hand em out at 9:45. Sitting on my G1s last few hours ;-)

And I'm pre-ordered for the second round. But I to make sure I get one so I'm here early. The rep said they had "close to 5" to give out to people that didn't preorder. So I might piss someone off this morning. Oh well f'em. Should have been here sooner bub.. hehehe
 
Walked into Bestbuy this morning and I was out in 30 Minutes

walked straight into sprint retail store and was done in less than 30 mins and got the second to last phone!!!!!! also got 45% off all accessories (case, screen protector made by HTC specially for EVO, and a car charger) because i am a premier member which i have 25% off and if you bought two or more accessories for the EVO it added an extra 20% off so 45% total!!!! dont know if she was supposed to do that but it sure was nice getting all 3 of my accessories under $40! This phone is SICK NASTY and UBER MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!
 
I walked into radio shack about 7:30. Walked out at 8:05 (I was talking to the rep). They sold their 3 extra units by 6:30.:eek: I'm HAPPY I pre-ordered!!!:D:D:D
 
Some R/S are having problems with SPrin'ts ordering system.. sucks for those pre-order folks having to wait

Walked in at 7:30, waited in-line 10min and chatted up with fellow enthusiasts - was out by 8:20 with no pre-order.. DAMN!
