flash player

I heard early 2010 as in 1Q2010, but who knows about those media sources.

Same with hulu, if flash was updated I'd be all over hulu :)

Hey, the more we post about it, the more we **might** get it :)

No the HTC Hero has flash {Lite version} and does well within the browser , Apparently people can watch flash videos etc online :)

Also, the ENV Touch (non-smart phone) supports Flash Lite. I don't know how well it works though since I've never used one...

All of my previous WM phones didn't support flash either but you could download Skyfire (mobile browser) and that supported embedded flash video. Still haven't found anything for the Android OS yet...

Yes Skyfire will play any Hulu files and fancast.com files so you can watch anything on Skyfire browser. Hope it comes to the Android OS.

Flash will be enabled on your phone and an update will be provided OTA. It's scheduled to release the first week of February.

Flash support is coming to all devices not beginning with an i.
Not flash lite either, but full flash. Flash 10.1 to be specific.

WebOS will supposedly be the first platform to get it.
Android and Windows Mobile will get it next (can't remember which order).
RIM will get it last.

At least thats what I read on some tech site somewhere. Can't remember where now lol.

Any way to get Flash Lite until then? I have the eris right now and am considering changing to the droid... or just returning it all and waiting for the passion.

From this article:

"Adobe's next version of Flash supports Windows Mobile, Google's Android, Palm's webOS and RIM' BlackBerry platforms. Missing from the list: Apple's iPhone."

"In the past, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) CEO Steve Jobs has publicly criticized Flash technology, saying it's too slow and inefficient for mobile devices. His company's iPhone OS is now the only major platform that isn't supported by Flash 10.1."

Seems like apple is too cool to be able to watch 80% of video on the internet.

Nokia N900 doesn't seem to have trouble running Flash. I may be dropping the Droid for it (TV Out).
