Any one else in boston area? getting 4G

Just got to work and was surprised the phone is getting 4G signals. My workplace is in Medford, MA so its just outside of boston. Did a speedtest and got 3931 down and 1014 up. Signal is pretty weak but the speeds are good.

I saw a slight glimmer of 4G when I was leaving work on friday, so I decided to check and see what I could get today. I just left my office, where I sadly don't get any 4G, and walked out the door and had a full 3 bars. I was standing in front of the Macy's in Downtown Crossing for this:

My office is near a window on the water side of post office square. My EVO is at home waiting for me tonight. I will report back tomorrow whether I get 4G signal in or near my office...

I saw the BGR report saying that it was here, and that pretty much put the nail in th coffin for me getting my evo. Sadly I have no 4G at home in Brockton... yet...

I was working a detail last night on Rt 128 in Dedham Mass, at exit 15 and I had 4G coverage. For those who dont know its about 15-20 miles outside of Boston. I see that Boston is getting it soon, but I had 4G last night. I usually have the 4G off and while talking to my wife, she asked if the coverage was available, so I hung up and switched on 4G, BINGO!!!!! I did a speed test and got 4MB DL and 1MB UL. Not too shabby seeing i only get less than 1mb DL at home.

I got a 4g signal in Peabody today when i was driving through to Salem. If anyone knows the area, i only got 4g for about a mile of my drive on Lowell street and main street.

Sprints 3g was getting 1.5-2 mb/s with a burst of 2.3 mb/s and that was in Westboro. No 4g here though. How do you get the screen shots???

Think that extends up to Portsmouth? I'm headed up there for the weekend. Would be nice to have that in the hotel.

I know exactly where that is, where Finz restaurant used to be.

I was in needham tonight and my phone briefly connected to 4g. I live near Burlington and I do not get any 4g connectivity however.

10:48am - Downtown Boston.

Has changed from constant perpetual "scanning" to scanning, then connected to sprint for 2 seconds, before disconnects after it tries to find an IP and gets rejected

unsure if this is my phone, or if its the towers.

When I drove thru Boston Saturday morning when I was heading up to NH I was able to get connected and got about 4-4.5 Mbps download and .33 Mbps upload. Last night on the way home, I was getting the connected and then getting disconnected.

JUST got my EVO. Getting 1 bar of 4g here in Burlington MA. Was told by the sprint rep, 4g should cover boston to 128 now and out to 495 by the end of the year.

I am getting great 4G at my office in Needham, but nothing in Quincy (which is inside 128). I think the non-techie areas inside 128 are/will lag behind the techie areas
