What is the best rss reader?

I want to be able to read full stories off line after they've been downloaded.

I've tried Ap Mobile and Express News, they both have ugly gui and rarely update - properly.

Looking for a nice gui and some default feeds.

AnyRSS reader works great for me. It's real straightforward, works offline, lets you choose how often you want to update and already comes preloaded with url's. Also you can choose between 3 different widget sizes (1x1, 1x4 and 2x4).

It is a paid app though

My favorite rss reader is Feedsquares. It doesn't have offline viewing yet, but I've requested that feature so hopefully they will implement it.

Before I switched to Feedsquares I enjoyed using NewsRob, which has offline viewing and worked very well.

I use Newsroom, they have a week trial version. It stores them on the SD card, I have it setup to run on wifi so I can view them on the way to work the next morning. Works great.

Newsrob. There's a free and a pro, but the free is very feature-packed. Syncs with Google Reader. Excellent, simple, clean UI. Saves articles in the background - can choose to save images, mobile versions of the pages in the background as well. Has a night viewing (white on black) mode. Can view pages directly in app or open with your web browser. Supports pinch zoom.

Pro has unread-count widget and can download ALL your starred articles from Google Reader.

Thanks for the info everyone.
Tried Newsroom and really like it but can't get past the fact that you have to view each article separately on a single page.
That application would benefit from a list view.
On to the next.

FeedR is the way to go. The latest updates have been very nice. It's not free but, its well worth the couple bucks it cost.

In feed r when you drill down to the article there'sa more button, when you select that do you have to be online to load the complete article?
