out of sync just as all videos seem to be on my desire. Though I'm guessing this will be addressed more by Froyo than by these companies.

Do I need a tv licence for this?
Technically, I think that's a yes as there are BBC channels on offer. But if you have a licence for your home address, you should be OK.
Ian
You are OK and covered by your home licence to watch your mobile as long as you don't plug the phone in to the mains to charge it, at work for example.
But then they gotta catch you first...![]()
even with a good wifi signal I get a weak signal problem that results in an almost unwatchable stream![]()
having discussed this with vodafone they say they are not blocking it on 3g. Personally I think this is bollox because it works fine on wifi.
They gave me 2 months free vodafone live TV subscription. That doesn't work either!!!
So can anyone confirm that they do have it working on Vodafone 3G ?
It wouldn't seem so. The private beta, and the regular iPhone version used to work fine over Vodafone 3G, so I'm really not sure what has changed since it went from private to public beta.![]()
I think O2 are blocking the ports needed for tvcatchup, yamgo and myplayer.
But my mates iphone on O2 streams TVcatchup on 3G with no issues !
Why block the desire but allow iphone ?
Can you watch MyPlayer all the way through a program, like Beebplayer it stops after 5 minutes and I have to come out and resume again from that point, does it every 5 minutes which can be annoying.MyPlayer works fine on my HTC Desire - quite impressive, actually, but definitely for use through WiFi only (as I was) - but when using TV Catchup and selecting (say) BBC1 I just get the message "The content is not supported" and further dialogs saying that no application can be found for the content, with an offer to download it instead.
Anyone else had the same problem?
