Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I've just checked the Verizon site to see what they're saying now... and they say 7/12!

So, a week has gone by since I ordered, but shipments (estimates) are two weeks later.

Wish they released sales numbers.

I, too, ordered online on 6/7 for the same exact reasons and was given a "ship by" date of 6/28. I believe we will in fact get our phones on or around that date. However, for those who ordered after us, their shipping date got pushed into July. Don't lose hope!

When I ordered on 5/31 they had the free upgrade to overnight going, so at least I have that. Hopefully I get it Friday or sooner :)

Considering I am a new customer I will not be getting a shipping e-mail so I am pretty much going off of all the dates on this forum

Amazon is not in stock as of right now and their price is the same $149.99 you get as an upgrade price online. (or at least what I paid for upgrade).

I'm a 5/28er and waiting for my email!!!! I will keep checking every 20 mins for it!!!!

(it sucks even more since my BB Curve screen cracked!)
 
I ordered today 6/14, website reads a ship date of 7/13. In-Store Verizon rep says it will be shipped in 3 weeks or less. So 7/5 or sooner. Not expecting sooner. I hope I get a bitchin' and moanin' credit. With ordering my Dinc and paying my current months bill I paid 470 dollars and don't have anything (well besides a paid bill) to show for it.

Hell, the Droid Shadow or whatever the hell its called is set for a rumored release of mid-July. and don't think that I won't swap this Dinc right out if its in-stock anytime during my 30-day grace.

I ordered on 6/2.
Promised Delivery date: 6/23

Called today to make sure I was still on that date and the rep told me that they are shipping early... so I am hoping that I will have it by the end of the week.
Based on some of your comments, I assume that I will not get a shipping notice. Good thing I have a teenager at home who can sign for it.
 
i just talked to a vzw agent on live chat and this is what she told me
Me: i have a question about the shipping dates for the htc incredible i ordered mine on neither the 8th or 9th or june and the date i ordered it the site said it would ship the 28th of june but now it says the'll ship it the 13th of july. when should my phone be shipped..
Daona: You will receive your's by the 28th.
Me: okay thank you soo much iv been looking around for this answerr

if shes correct ill be pretty satisfied
 
Ok, so I got my shipping notification on Sunday and delivery should be tomorrow by 3pm according to FedEx. So why am I in Florence KY, and it's still in Memphis, TN as of 11:33 pm EST?? :confused:

I'm getting nervous. Is it really gonna make a 500 mile trip, and make it to my door by 3pm tomorrow? If it doesn't I may have to finally embrace my inner emo and slit my wrists in utter misery. The wait is frickin KILLING me!!!



....and I'm anticipating the arrival so much that if/when it comes tomorrow, I have a GIANT driver's release note on the door, so that fat FedEx man better leave my shit on the porch LOL

Here are a few tips from someone reading this thread for weeks now:

1. Some (NOT most)FedEx branches dont update well. Your package could be on truck or in another city and not be scanned in properly.

2. you need a sig (poster above knows, but just reminding all)

3. Overnight means next business day unless shipped after hours or on weekend, then it means day after. This is mostly for Saturday or Sunday ship dates. (Yes, Verizon has shown shipping on those dates)

4. Verizon usually wont change shipping method mid order.

5. They WERE quoting 21 days for SHIPPING (not delivery) and if they quoted that to you, chances are they will stick by it no matter what (unless they DELAY it). If someone tells you anything else, they are speculating.

6. When you post shipping notice here, please say when you ordered, online or live, and what state!

Have an awesome time, I am hoping to leave this thread by Wednesday, I am 5/28 AM online to mid-west!

DOn't get nervous yet. A lot of travel gets done overnight while we're all dreaming of putting our hands on our new toy. If you check again around 10 and it still hasn't moved then you might try calling (don't panic then either cause sometimes it takes longer to update the computers). You should have it tomorrow as planned.
 
I finally called CS today and they verified that my DInc was shipped today for delivery by tomorrow at 3pm.

Ordered 5-25 in East Tennessee Verizon corporate store
CC cleared on 5-27
Shipped overnight on 6-14

Nice one BlastOff. How about another, as I try to ignore my three week wait. I think Not having instant gratification is good medicine for us. So far I've even considered canceling my order as I wonder why I need/want this device. Do I really need another computer? Mmmm, I need another Haiku.
 
Getting worried...If i dont get shipping notice either tom. or wed. I may not have the phone by this week since its 2 day shipping and that will be BS. I ordered on 5/28, so i was hoping I would at least get it before the expected ship by date of 6/18.

Hopefully I get the ship notification tom.
