I got my Incredible at launch and returned it on the 28th day and they did not charge me a restocking fee. That is the 2nd phone I returned without a restocking fee. (I ordered from Verizon over the phone) It is worth a shot.
 
Really hoping for a July 19th or sooner release date. I just switched from my iPhone to the original Droid on Saturday (VZW stores were giving away $100 credit per line you bring to VZW). and the 30th day to return the phone is July 19th.

Does anyone know if I bought the phone from a Verizion corporate store, can I return it to Best Buy or something and avoid the restocking fee? Probably not, but it would be nice.
 
The 2nd makes more sense if they want to capitalize on the incredible and evo shortages and steal some of that iphone money.

No-go. Can only return to corporate. Same as if you buy from a retailer like BB, can only return to that retailer, not to corporate
 
I will be getting this phone for sure now! The only downfall for me is it does not have a front facing camera for skype. I have to use the back of the phone. I can live with that since my LG dare does not have a front facing camera and most popular phones do not have a front facing camera.

Also why would this phone not be as popular as the incredible was? This phone looks twice as good as the incredible!!!
 
i was watching a commercial that verizon released on a website i cant seem to find it.. but at the end it flashed 7/20/10... hoping for the 2nd but possibly the 20.. =|
 
My birthday is July 19th! Sweet! I still hope this phone comes out on the 2nd, but the 19th would be cool too :D

REPORT: Surveillance confirms all Droid X have dispersed. Each one is in a separate site.

Now there is a post on hofo saying it is the 15th for a release date by someone who says they are a member of the Verizon Wireless Customer Council. Tomorrow can not come fast enough.
