Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

alright so my order was supposed to ship 6/23. NOTHING!
i called CS and a guy said that its not their fault its HTC's. I told him that although its HTC's fault verizon should push HTC when they promised Verizon a ship date. w/e cant deal with stupid people.

I told him that if the phones are no on my door step on friday I will cancel all my lines. He said he put a few notes in and hopefully they'll ship today (6/24) and get here friday. he said he'll give me a call friday and that, i quote, "you do not have to call anymore." im sure a page of notes is taht i called and asked about my damn phone. im sure ill end up calling tomorrow anyway or going into the store. I have a huge car show in austin this weekend and this phone would really help. I dont see how later order dates are getting shipped but ours still cant.. :confused:

Ordered my Incredible on 6/17 and the rep actually pushed the ship date back twice while was on the phone ordering it...first he said ship date of 7/19 but by the end of the call he said 7/22 at the earliest. I certainly can't say I didn't know what I was getting into with the wait.

Unfortunately, at my age I need all the time I can get with the thing just to figure it out. My current phone is an LG Chocolate which I thought 2 years ago was Star Wars futuristic, hell, it had a touch wheel! Damned thing never worked right but I stuck with it. Now with...apps, snapdragons and touchscreens, I'm going from a "crap can" to a Porsche and dang it, I need time with the manual, so hurry the heck up Verizon!!!!!

Hey, I am new here, (Like you can't tell with the whole "1" under posts thing)...anyway...I ordered an Incredible for my wife and I on 6/7, the ship by date was 6/28 at the time, I was hoping that the stars would align and God and the heavens would part and I would get the phone earlier.....

Well to quote a line from Lethel Weapon, apparently God hates me....or HTC does, I am not sure...

No info yet and all this waiting is driving me nuts...My wife wasn't even sure she wanted the phone but now, everyday she is like "when are we getting the new phones?"...she is driving me nuts, not because she really wants it but because she knows it's killing me not have a new shiny electronic toy to play with....

Of course all this Droid X talk is killing me as well, only because I have this insane fear that the X will be out before I see my Incredible....or that my wife will see the X and go..."I like that better"....

My life is a living hell.....:rolleyes:

Anyway I have been a lurker for a while now soaking up knowledge not just about the incredible but all things Android...I am digging what I see and I can't wait to go all "droid" on someone, anyone...hopfully soon....

0428.. D-day morning. Me and my fellow crazy "6/3ers"patiently wait for a shipping notification, with no sign of this insanity letting up, we turn to each other and ask the obvious, "Where the F$#! is my phone!?" But seriously this is ludacris. Stupid Verizon.

I had to X off another day on my "Phones of Verizon" calendar. 6/7'er here waiting for my Ship By date of 6/28 to hold true.... I hope they get the damn thing out on time!! :mad: (But at this point I'm not holding my breath.)

Nothing yet! Just got off the phone with customer service. Seems that the shipping stopped on the 21st. She didn't have any updates on the shipping dates.

Starting to really suffer from phone envy. I had thought that the iPhone would go to Verizon and hedged my bet with the Incredible. When that died I really began looking froward to the Incredible.

Verizon how about an update on the orders?

Hey RM! Well I guess we'll just hang in there for another day... I think so many folks have received misinformation and random ship dates from Customer Service... makes me wonder what's going to happen when it's our turn for our phones to supposedly ship! Wish I could be as lucky as some of the others on this forum to have waited just a few days! Why, oh, why couldn't Verizon be that good to us?? :confused: :D Damn you, Verizon!!

Yeah thats a lie. Atleast the one I talked to told me I would be "paying" for something I wouldnt get. (we didnt get into the fact that I wouldnt be paying for shiiiit).

They also told me they were upgrading to next day shipping for what it is worth.
 
I gotta say, with all the BS information folks have been getting from Verizon CS I just can't believe a thing they say anymore. I seriously doubt they would upgrade everyone to overnight shipping to accomodate anyone. They've already got our money, and we've been waiting this long, so why should they bother getting our phones out a day early just to appease us? :rolleyes:

Are you telling me CS may have told me a lie just to get me off the phone? I find that hard to believe...just INCREDIBLE.

Because I have 4 lines up for contract renewal and the iPhone4 drops today.
And it seems many others are getting the DInc as the closest thing VZW has to an iPhone, and as an upgrade. If it were possible, they would be smart to upgrade and eat the $$$. But it may actually not be possible.

I could not agree more... I am really mad! I am sick of getting the run around... you would think they could at least have bad yet consistent information for us.. My ship date was yesterday, and to be safe, since I am not home today, I put a note on the door. Doubt it will come... but I can dream. Thankfully, I am home tomorrow... so, if they know what is good for them, they will get that thing to me by then or there will be hell to pay!

You are all good! I was off, I think the more I am on here, the more angry I get that my order is now past the ship date and I have ZERO information! NM is just giving you shit... where is he now??????

teehee - I know he is - it's in return for the shit I gave him yesterday for leaving us. Lol. Yeah - I feel my blood pressure rising for you, and NM and all other 6/2's AND for us 6/3's. Not cool - not cool at all!
