Sorry for the extra late reply. I'm actually just now seeing this message. The HTC Evo V 4G is worth it. Even though it has fluctuating signal issues its still worth it. Try rooting your device and then flash one of the Roms in the forum. I hear that the Roms get rid of that signal issue. I just recently finally rooted my device but need to do an s-off procedure to flash some of the Roms for it. I love this device and its so worth it.

It's self-activating

Assuming is your first phone swap, you can either do the phone swap online for free or call and be charged $10. If the phone swap is still down (wouldn't be surprised) bug the ever living hell out of Virgin Mobile USA to NOT charge you $10 for a free service that was down. I know this is late, but hey, I wasn't on for a few days, so sorry.

I agree with Daniel except... If they plan to charge you the $10, Just drop me a message. I'll call customer service and have them put it on your account for you! =]

Also, Keep your new phone and your old phone off during the transfer.
You will have a quicker provisioning time.

Hello. Here are the best intructions I can give
1. Do NOT turn on your new phone yet.
2. Call into your old voicemail and delete all messages
3. Switch to the $35 plan on the website BEFORE your current month goes out
4. Top up with $35 (You might have some error come up on the website, don't worry about this. Continue to the next step)
5. Call virgin with your old phone and tell them that you want to swap to the evo (If they try to charge you $10 say that you don't have 10 bucks and they should do it for free.)
6. After you finish with that phone call, turn OFF your old phone.
7. Wait 30 minutes
8. Turn on your new phone
