I tried to install 2.2 back when it was released a couple months ago, while rooted. Well it didn't work, and now says I'm updated with 2.1.
I want to Unroot. Once I put my phone back to stock will the update pop back on my phone?
Thanks for any help.

When I unlock my screen the Dock icons become highlighted individually and cycle through non stop. I can open a screen if I hit the icon at the exact second it becomes highlighted. Once in the new screen (IE App drawer), it will cycle through the top row of apps.

Does anyone use this?
If so what has been your experience. It says to use at own risk, so it worries me a little bit. I don't want to have to restore my phone to any point.
I'm having an issue with a large list of apps starting when I get online.
Is there a way I can disable these apps from starting up?
I downloaded a Startup Manager to discontinue the automatic startup of many apps. This Manager has even failed to prevent startup of only two applications...
Curious to know what apps people are taking advantage of having now since you've rooted your phone.
Here is what I've installed.
-Adfree
-CacheMate for Root Users
-drocap2
-IncrediLight
-Quick Boot
-Titanium Backup (setup to backup System Date + User Apps once a week)
-Wireless Tether
I'm going to root my phone tonight once home from EMS crew. I want to keep my Stock SD card so that if anything happens I can just pop it back in.
With the new one, will I need to preinstall all current and stock files/folders or will it be formatted once I put it in for the first time pre-root?
I've been messing around with my droid and trying to customize it, etc.
In the process I've ended up with a few ringtones I do not want.
For the life of me I can not figure out to delete them. Any help is much appreciated!
